I  bought this saw very well used, not taken care of, and not running. The goal was to get it cleaned up, fixed up, and tuned up. Then sell it. First on the list was to find out what was wrong with it. Both the switch and the motor were bad.

Okay here are some pictures after/during the cleaning.

 

The above picture shows one clean and one dirty trunnion.

Here are 2 center pieces painted forest green. I took all the cast iron parts to a friends house and sand blasted them clean, then covered all machined areas primed and painted the rest.

Assembly

 This was interesting as all I was going by is memory and the exploded parts diagram. The switch and motor are wired up and it runs fine. Yes that is a Delta switch in case anyone was wondering.
