Small Night Stand
My brother employed me to build a simple night stand for his girlfriend. One interesting part is that it only needed to be 18" tall. It is 15" deep and 24" wide. It is solid red oak with a rosewood jel stain and 5 coats of satin lacquer. The construction is all pocket hole. He wanted it to be a fast project. First night was the 2 glue ups. Next day borrowed a friends shop and drum sander to do the panels. That night my brother and I did all the assembly. He took it home and did all the sanding, staining, and finishing. She loved it.
