Kitchen Work
We got a hold of a bunch of free cabinets. Here is where I
installed several of them.
I will be making a laminate counter top that will stick out about where the
piece of plywood in the picture is. It will cover all the bottom cabinets and
hang over about 6". You can see I had to leave plenty of space to have
access to the electrical panel. I relocated the outlet to where you see it now,
it would have been behind the bottom cabinet.
(no comments on the wallpaper, we know!)
Time to upgrade the floor!
I found 200 sq feet of maple laminate floor on Craig's List for $.41 a sq foot.
This is what we found when we removed the top piece of vinyl foor.
Here is the start of laying the floor.
