DVD Rack
This is a quick and dirty rack I have about 3 hours total in this. The dowels have slits cut in the end and purpleheart wedges driven in. I then soaked in thin cyanoacrylate (super glue). After the glue dried, I sanded the dowels and wedges flush with the sides. I only put a coat of wax on it. The rack was needed ASAP and is temporary (meaning about 2 years) The square wood you see on the back is one of two supports going to the other side I will use to screw the rack to the wall with. They are glued and screwed in. The sides are Wormy Maple (Ambrosia Maple), all but 3 of the 3/4" dowels are birch. The 3 are oak because I did not have enough birch.
