Coffee Table
I would like to take credit for the whole table , but I can't. The top is one my parents had changed out because of some damage to it. The furniture store replaced the top and my parents kept the old one. That's where I come in. We had no coffee table, so I built a quick leg and apron set for it. It is out of soft maple, stained with an American Walnut dye stain topped with a coat of cherry toner and several coats of gloss lacquer rubbed to a satin finish. The leg to apron joinery is nothing more then pocket screws and metal "z" clips to attach the top. I am very pleased with how the color matched considering I did it from memory. Total time invested in the project is five hours.
