Blanket Chest

This is a cedar chest I built. The plans are from American Woodworker. Below is a picture, from their web-site of the chest made of cherry. The wood has been banded and stickered under a carport for almost two years. The customers are happy! The finish is one coat of Danish oil on the whole thing and 3 coats of a wipe on satin polyurethane on the top, so they can put drinks on top (with coasters) There is also a coat of wax on it. The customers are happy!
