CD Rack

This was my second try at a doweled CD rack. It worked great. I used a pre-glued up pine panel ripped in half for each side. The dowel holes are drilled all the way through the sides.I cut slots in the ends of the dowels and used  purpleheart wedges to stop them from pulling out. I used cyanoacrylate (superglue) on the whole project. I put all the dowels and wedges in then wicked in a layer of glue. After the glue dried, I sanded the dowels and wedges flush with the sides. It will hold about 850 CD's if fully loaded.
